A Talk on Showing Vegetables

Preparing Vegetables for Show

Buffet    List for the Buffet is now closed

With only a couple of months to the NLHS Annual Product and Flower Show this is an  opportunity to get all the up to date information on how to prepare your vegetables for the show.  A little attention to detail could easily increase your chances of being in the cards.

For example:

What is the National Vegetable Society’s advice to judges and exhibitors on the merits and defects of stump rooted carrots. Schedule Class 7

What is the difference between coloured and white potatoes.  Schedule Class 5/6

For a copy of this year's Schedule go to Annual Show.

Comments often heard:

I grow my vegetables for the table - well one can eat them after the show.

My onions are better than those - well bring them to the show
